3. Yoga and Meditation Centre – Brahmacharini Darsika Chaitanya of Chinmaya
ission, Thrissur, inaugurated this Centre on 21-03-2010. Shri Ambadi Ramachandran is the Resident Yogacharya who conducts regular Yoga and Meditation classes.

4. “Krishnayanam 2010” - On the occasion of its “35th Year Celebrations” Balagokulam organized a two-day massive event called “Krishnayanam 2010”- the biggest children’s meet with a participation of 25,000 Balgokulam children, their parents and volunteers from all over India and abroad, on 3rd and 4th April, 2010 at Vadakkumnatha Temple Ground, Thrissur.

Holy men like Swami Goutamananda Maharaj (Trustee and President of Chennai Sri Ramakrishna Math), Swami Prasathananda (President, Sri Ramakrishnamath, Thrissur), Swami Poornamritanandapuri (General Secretary, Mata Amritananda Math), intellectuals like Padmashri P. Parameswaran (Director of Bharatheeya Vicharakendram), Mahakavi Akhitham, Shri S. Rameshan Nair (Poet & Lyricist), Shri C. Radhakrishnan (a well known novelist), Shri Madambu Kunjukuttan, Shri Madandas Devi (Saha-sarkaryavahak), Shri O. Rajagopal (Ex-Rly. Dy. Minister), Shri Therambil Ramakrishnan (MLA), Justice K.P. Radhakrishna Menon (former Ombudsman), eminent businessmen like Shri T.S. Pattabhiraman (MD, Kalyan Group), Dr. Ramanathan (MD, Sitaram Ayurveda Pharmacy), Shri Sadanandan (Elite Group), Major Ravi (Film Director),Shri K.G. This awesome show conceived by Sri P.K. Gopi and conceptualized by Sri Kanakadas Perambra was a colourful treat for the children and elders who occupied every inch of the venue and surrounding areas. This programme stands unique with an entry in the Limca Book of World Records.

5. Herbal Garden – As a first step towards developing a Herbal Garden at the ISK site, about a hundred medicinal shrubs were planted on the Environmental Day of June 5, 2010. This function was organized under the able guidance and advice of. Prof. T.A. Panicker, a well known and highly recognized authority on medicinal plants’ growth and preservation. Shri S.P. Namboothiri (MD of Sreedhareeyam), Dr. Ramanathan (MD of Sitaram Ayurveda Pharmacy) and Dr. Raghu attended this function.

6. The 2nd Annual General Meeting of ISK was held at the ISK Yogakendram on 14-08-2010. All the members and many dignitaries attended this meeting. The AGM approved the annual accounts and also elected the new office bearers whose details are available in this site. The AGM venue was specially selected to give an opportunity to all the members to have a first-hand idea of the site.

7. The first meeting of the newly elected Executive Committee Members was held at Kodakara on 21-09-2010. This important meeting was presided over by Sri M.A. Sir (Chairman) and attended by Sri Kittu Nair and Sri Mohan Nair (Vice Chairmen), Sri P.K. Vijayaraghavan (General Secretary), Sri T.C. Sethumadhavan (Coordinator), Sri N.P. Murali (Site Committee Head), Sri M.C. Kumaran (Estate Manager). In this meeting, among other things, Sri K.P. Baburaj, Organizing Secretary, outlined the plans and programmes to be launched immediately. The meeting highlighted the urgency of procuring the entire land on a time bound basis to scuttle the cost escalation. A special membership drive on all Kerala basis was programmed for fund mobilization. Towards this end, it was decided to form Area Committees to spread the message among all devotees of Lord Krishna seeking their blessings and patronage.
